Assign Job Roles

Overview

Use this page to assign a job role to a user. This is helpful when users need to be aligned with the correct role-based qualification requirements.

Permissions / Access

Who can perform this action?

  • Department Manager
  • Company Manager

Admin Dashboard -> Qualifications Tab-> Manage Job Roles

Steps

  1. Click on Admin Dashboard in left navigation menu.
  2. Select the Qualifications tab.
  3. Select Manage Job Roles.
  4. Select the job role you want to assign.
  5. Select Assign Role.
  6. Select the user you want to assign to the role.
  7. Select the activation date.
  8. Select the submit option to complete the assignment.

Result

  • The selected user is assigned to the job role.
  • The role assignment becomes active on the selected date.

Notes / Tips

  • Confirm the activation date before submitting the role assignment.
  • Review the selected user and role carefully to avoid incorrect assignments.

Troubleshooting

Common issue: The wrong user or role was selected.

Solution: Cancel the action if possible and restart the assignment with the correct selections.

Common issue: The assignment does not take effect.

Solution: Confirm the activation date has been reached and the submission completed successfully.
